Privacy Policy

Kova collects information needed to provide adaptive strength training features, maintain user accounts, manage subscriptions, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.

Kova does not sell personal data.

If you create or use an account, we may collect information such as your email address, authentication provider identifiers, account settings, and related security information used to sign in and protect your account.

Kova may collect workout plans, exercises, sets, reps, weights, completion status, training history, strength estimates, progress trends, notes, and related app activity needed to generate and update your lifting program.

Kova may collect profile and onboarding information such as goals, experience level, bodyweight, available equipment, preferred training schedule, workout duration preferences, limitations, and other settings used to personalize your program.

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple and managed with RevenueCat. We may receive purchase status, subscription entitlement, renewal state, product identifier, transaction identifiers, receipt information, and related subscription data needed to unlock paid features, prevent fraud, and provide support.

Kova does not receive or store your full payment card number from Apple.

If you enable notifications, Kova may use notification tokens and related settings to send workout reminders, account notices, or app-related messages. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.

If analytics or crash diagnostics are enabled, Kova may collect app performance information, crash reports, device type, operating system version, app version, and usage events that help us understand reliability and improve the app. We do not use third-party advertising analytics in this version.

Kova does not read Apple Health data.

If you enable Apple Health sync, Kova may write completed strength workouts and estimated active energy to Apple Health. You can control Apple Health permissions in iOS Settings or the Health app.

We may share limited information with service providers that help operate Kova, such as hosting, authentication, database, subscription management, customer support, analytics, diagnostics, and infrastructure providers. These providers are permitted to use information only to provide services to Kova.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to prevent fraud or abuse, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide Kova, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. Workout and account data may be retained until your account is deleted or a deletion request is completed, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

You may request account deletion or data deletion by contacting support@kovalift.com. We may need to verify your request before deleting account information. Some transaction, security, backup, or legal records may be retained when required by law or legitimate business needs.

Kova is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
